The Layar Creation Challenge focussed on using Layar Vision, the new image recognition built into Layar 6.0.

We put our thinking caps on and came up with a brand new gaming concept. It combines location based gaming with check-ins, in the case of GEOSKANAR, scans.

The concept is relatively simple. Print off some of our fantastic artwork and pop it in your bag. Go to all the places you visit regularly, friends and families houses, cafes, bars, hang-outs, college, uni, work and physically put a poster up in that location.

The poster is easily added to the system, instantly owned by you.

It’s your job to maintain ownership while other GEOSKANAR’s hunt down your posters to scan them. If they scan them more than you – they take ownership!

The posters can only be scanned once every 24 hours by all players, including the owner.

Earn points, move up through the leaderboard, get new posters to add to your inventory and become the GEOSKANAR master.

More details can be found on www.geoskanar.com or download the guide.
